How it started

Oryx was founded with the purpose of being the best partner for company transformations in the Nordics.

We have seen too many small and medium sized companies with a sound core business getting stuck, or even failing, due to unfortunate circumstances.

Our starting point is always the same. We look for a business that works underneath the current situation — proven products, customers who keep coming back, and people who know how to run it — together with a problem that can be solved with capital and active ownership. Where we find both, we invest capital alongside the existing team, and stay until the company is profitable, properly governed and standing on its own.
