​With an educational background in law (Stockholm University) and finance (Harvard), David spend 6+ years working as a business lawyer focused on turnaround cases and financial distress. Furthermore, David has held executive positions at growth success stories like Daniel Wellington and Loop Earplugs.

After establishing the Swedish VC Fund First Venture as a publicly traded investment company as CEO, David founded Oryx to combine his experience in turnarounds, growth and investments.
